Fexuprazan HCl (Fexuclue), a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), suppresses gastric acid secretion by completely blocking the entry of potassium ions through the proton pump (H+/K+ ATPase) into the gastric parietal cells, thereby inhibiting the secretion of hydrogen ions needed for the formation of hydrochloric acid in the gastric lumen.

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of erosive esophagitis.
